The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone is a perfect family movie for Christmas , based on children's book of the same name, a story of adventure and time travel with two teenage protagonists, with a religious message.
It's narrated in the third person by a friendly old man, Daniel Anderson (Alex Kendrick), who visits an orphanage to tell stories to children. This time Daniel will tell you the story of Billy Stone (Billy Unger) and Allie (Sammi Hanratty), the two friends and the protagonists of The Lost Medallion: The Adventures of Billy Stone. When they're out playing at amateur archaeologists, they find a medallion lost for hundreds of years, which accidentally transports them back in time to a remote island.
To save the life of Allie, Billy delivers the medallion to Cobra (Mark Dacascos), a warrior of the evil that rules the island. To retrieve the locket and save the island from slavery, Billy and Allie must learn to work together with the young and arrogant heir to the throne (Jansen Panettiere), his best friend and a wise old man (James Hong).
